Description
The Croatian National Council (HRC) is the highest representative body of Croats in the Republic of Serbia, elected to ensure the right to minority self-government. Based on the 2002 Law on the Protection of the Rights and Freedoms of National Minorities, it represents the Croatian national minority in the area of official use of languages, education, information and culture, participates in the decision-making process or decides on issues in these areas and establishes institutions in these areas.
